100A, 200A and 400A service upgrades sized for modern loads.
Older 60A and 100A panels were never designed for EV chargers, heat pumps, induction ranges or hot tubs. Dena Electronics upgrades aging fuse boxes and undersized breaker panels to modern 200A or 400A service, with current-generation panels from Schneider, Siemens, Eaton and Square D. We coordinate the BC Hydro disconnect, complete the swap in a single day where possible, and label every circuit clearly for future service.
We perform a CEC-compliant load calculation to confirm the right service size for your home.
We prepare your quote and schedule the BC Hydro disconnect/reconnect window.
Technical Safety BC electrical permit is pulled in your address on our licence.
Old panel is removed, new panel mounted, every branch circuit re-terminated and torqued to spec.
After inspection we leave you with a typed circuit directory and full closeout documentation.
Most residential panel upgrades are completed in 6–10 hours of power-off time on the day of the swap.
Not always. We run a load calculation first — many 100A homes can support a Level 2 charger with proper load management.
Yes — Hydro performs the service disconnect and reconnect. We schedule and coordinate everything on your behalf.
Service upgrades performed alongside heat pumps or EV chargers may qualify for CleanBC and federal Greener Homes rebates. We'll point you to current programs.
