Commercial Electrical

Warehouse Electrical

High-bay LED, power distribution and machine power for warehouses.

Overview

Warehouses and distribution centres run on reliable lighting and power. We install high-bay and low-bay LED lighting with motion and daylight controls that cut energy use dramatically, sized feeders for conveyors, packaging lines and battery-charging rooms, plus dock-door power, forklift charging stations and yard lighting. Our crews work around your shifts so racking, product and operations keep moving.

Benefits

  • High-lumen DLC-listed LED high-bays with motion dimming
  • Feeder and distribution sizing for real-world duty cycles
  • Dedicated forklift and EV charging infrastructure
  • Yard, dock and perimeter lighting built for Canadian weather

Our Process

  1. Site walk & audit

We survey ceiling heights, aisle layout, existing service and utility bills to model savings.

  2. Design & rebate paperwork

We propose a fixture layout, controls sequence and file BC Hydro rebate paperwork on your behalf.

  3. Permits & staging

Materials are staged and permits pulled; work is phased around receiving and shipping windows.

  4. Install & commissioning

Lifts and crews install fixtures, feeders, disconnects and controls, then commission and test.

  5. Verification & handover

Lux-level readings, panel schedules and rebate documentation are delivered at closeout.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will we have to shut down operations?

No — we phase work aisle by aisle and use night shifts where required so shipping and receiving keep running.

Are BC Hydro rebates available?

Yes. Most LED high-bay retrofits qualify for BC Hydro Business Energy Savings incentives — we handle the paperwork.

Can you install forklift charging?

Yes, including dedicated ventilated charging rooms with eyewash-adjacent GFCI receptacles and proper feeder sizing.

What lumen output do you use?

Fixture selection depends on mounting height and task — typical warehouse aisles land between 20 and 40 foot-candles at floor level.
